Acknowledgements
Over the years there are so many people who have made significant contributions to
my journey. We would all like to think that our material is original, but this can
never be true. It might be innovative, but it is always on the back of somebody else’s
thinking. It’s all a progression, and so I think that it is important to acknowledge
this.
The key is for our lives to be an authentic, and original expression of that which
rings true for us.
On this note, I would like to thank the following people - for exposing me to the
celebration of possibility, and for challenging me to live a significant life:
- The current businesses that we are working with, and those we have worked with over
the years. It is thanks to all of them, and the partnerships that have emerged, that
our our own business is thriving, and constantly evolving.
- Ashley Farren, Roy Parkhurst and Santie Botha, for knowing that I could do it.
- Apple Tree, for the camaraderie, and for inspiring my journey to the edge of possibility.
- My family for believing in me, and supporting my journey into non-conformity.
- Anne King for her ingenuity in marketing and design.
- So many friends who have made their mark on my life; especially Mike and Rupert,
who have journeyed with me, showed me the moons of Jupiter and the rings around Saturn,
through a pair of binoculars - as well as constantly challenged me to live a greener,
better life...
- My 1000 Hills colleagues, for a profound diversion.
